TikTok was the one that push the short videos to the next level. Still today, no short video apps are as famous as TikTok was! In 2022 TikTok was banned by the Indian government due to India-China border Issue. TikTok was one of the 250 Apps that were banned in 2020. Other eminent apps like PUBG mobile, Ali baba, Some Scanning apps, and a slew of others.
Note: TikTok relaunching in India with a similar brand name to fulfill the requirement provided by the central government of India. A real estate development company Hiranandani will try to bring the App to India.

In May 2021, Krafton launched Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) as the successor to PUBG Mobile. With a new agreement, ByteDance desires to re-enter the Indian market and get back the well-known TikTok app. Former employees are also being considered for rehire.

Furthermore, if TikTok relaunches in India, identical to PUBG Mobile, there’s a possibility that the app will be launched in India under a distinct name than TikTok. This likewise implies that there may be a new branding to start with.

Even if the app is relaunched in India, it will be up against apps like Instagram (Reels), YouTube (Shorts), Snapchat, Chingari, ShareChat, MX Takatak, Moj, Josh, and others. Whereas, it’s also worth mentioning that no clones or competitors have been able to reach TikTok’s success in the last two years.
