India’s leading telecom company Reliance Jio launched its first-ever JioBook laptop in the nation during the Diwali festival. After dominating the telecom sector, the company will be ready to take down the gadget segment market. The Jiobook laptop has come under INR 20K. Last year Reliance launched its first-ever smartphone JioPhone Next in partnership with Google. The JioBook laptop too has been launched in association with Google and Microsoft companies.

• JioBook Runs On Android Operating System
JioBook has integrated with an Android Operating System with custom JioOS on top of it. The company said, “Optimized for superior performance and multi-regional languages support has been done by JioOS. JioBook is coming with “Made-In-India” branding.
• JioBook Specifications
The laptop has an 11.6inches HD display with a screen resolution of 136×768 pixels. The JioBook weighs 1.2KG. In my opinion, this is the standard weight in the laptop segment. On the front side, there is a 2MP web camera for video calls.
JioBook is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit, 2HGz octa-core processor, Andreno 610 GPU, and loads with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage that can be expandable up to 128GB via SD card. It comes with LTE connectivity and WiFi connectivity as well. The JioBook has an embedded Jio Sim card. However, it can’t support others telecom sims.
The laptop runs on Android OS with Jio’s own custom layer top on it, like JioPhone next PragatiOS.
Under the hood, there is a 5000mAh battery, that can give you up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge.
JioBook comes bundled with serval Jio apps and Microsoft 365 benefits.
Other specifications like 2-USB Ports, 1HDMI mini Port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a microSD card slot.

As I told you earlier, the price of the laptop is below INR 20K. According to Reliance Digital’s official website, the laptop is listed at INR 15,799 under a special offer. However, the actual price of the laptop is INR 35K as mentioned on the official site of Reliance Digital. That’s literally overpriced in terms of JioBook specifications.
Also, you will avail of additional discounts from several banks’ credit as well as debit cards till October 31, 2022, or during the Diwali festival.
Reliance Digital has been offering a one-year brand warranty with its first-ever JioBook laptop.
